Main Street Clinton, Inc., a non-profit organization and program of the Mississippi Main Street Association, exists to strengthen Olde Towne and Clinton Boulevard in partnership with the business community, property owners, and residents. Main Street Clinton is a quasi-governmental organization lead by a Board of Directors made up of volunteers from the community and a Main Street Manager. Board meetings are held monthly to discuss organizational business and work on mission specific goals. Main Street Clinton belongs to the larger Mississippi Main Street Association and the National Trust Main Street Center.
Clinton’s downtown historic brick streets, constructed in 1929, welcome you to a charming Olde Towne community. With many historic homes throughout this district, you can walk back into a time when life was slower and enjoy Southern hospitality at its best. Bordered by Mississippi College, Olde Towne enjoys a great mix of students and families browsing through antique shops and an old book store. Take a leisurely walk along tree lined streets without the worry of busy traffic laden streets.
Parks & Rec
Clinton boasts six recreational facilities offering over 100 activities including softball/soccer/baseball, square dancing, tennis, basketball, and Frisbee golf. Kids Towne Park, built by community volunteers, offers a unique, child friendly experience, enjoyed by thousands of Clinton’s youngest citizens. The privately run Clinton Nature Center offers an opportunity to learn the value of nature in an unspoiled environment. Take a jog on one of five walking trails located in one of our award winning parks.
Senior and Therapeutic Recreation Services is a department in the City of Clinton that meets the physical, social and mental needs of seniors and mentally challenged individuals.

Living Young is for individuals ages 50+ to improve their quality of life through recreation and play. Programs are held at the Wood Activity and Therapeutic Center.
- ABILITIES Program (Special Needs)
The ABILITIES program is designed for individuals ages 6+ with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Programs include Challenger League sports, crafts and social events.

The Wood Activity Center offers a variety of amenities. Use of these additions are for all participants in the ABILITIES and Living Young Programs.
